Douglas, and a project tentatively entitled <em>Before Brown: The Long Civil Rights Movement, 1945-1954<\/em>, which focuses on the often-overlooked decade between the end of World War II and the Court\u2019s landmark Brown decision. In his off time, he enjoys jazz, playing drums, and collecting comics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/atu-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com\/primo-explore\/fulldisplay?docid=01ARKTECH_ALMA2172639840002606&amp;context=L&amp;vid=NEW-UI-ARKTECH&amp;search_scope=Everything&amp;tab=default_tab&amp;lang=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2961\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blogs.atu.edu\/library\/files\/2019\/03\/justandrighteous.jpg?resize=202%2C253\" alt=\"Photo of book cover, &quot;Just and Righteous Causes&quot;\" width=\"202\" height=\"253\" \/><\/a>His book, <em>Just and Righteous Causes<\/em>, was published by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uapress.com\/product\/just-and-righteous-causes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Arkansas Press<\/a>.<\/strong> In one review, Mark K.
