The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership (EDLD) is designed to prepare candidates for state licensure as a building-level principal. It reflects the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL), the National Educational Leadership Preparation (NELP) Building Level Standards, and all School Leadership Standards adopted by the state of Arkansas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program offers two options: An M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (30-credit-hours) or an “Endorsement Only” option (24-credit-hours or less) for those who have completed a Masters in a related field (subject to approval by the Program Director).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Successful completion leads to a P-12 Building Level Administrator<\/strong> endorsement (276), which qualifies the holder to serve as a principal or assistant principal in any setting from preschool through 12th grade.
