Hi everyone!
Spring has arrived here in Massachusetts, even though it did snow the other day. Time is ticking by, with only one month left until I head back home. School is getting more grueling lots of tests and papers to write, but I’m managing just fine. The only interesting thing I’ve really done since my last post is getting to go home for Spring Break. It was nice seeing all my friends and family. My friends and I went on a little camping trip, unfortunately, it was kind of rainy and the river was too high to swim in, but it was still fun. I’ve been asked a lot if I’m going to be ready to come back home once the semester is over, and to that I’ve said yes and no. There are certain aspects of life here that I will miss a lot, but I think at the end of the day I would miss things about home more.
The week after I got back I went to Boston to watch a Shane Gillis show with my friend Carter. He was so funny, I was rolling. I feel like I’ve been to Boston so many times now, I could almost get around without a GPS…almost. I have plans to go there again in about a week to tour some hotels with the AHLA club. This will probably be my last venture to Boston, I’ll be a little sad to leave the city I’ve grown to like a lot. Boston is a lot nicer than many other major cities that I’ve been to. It’s cleaner, prettier, and a lot less crowded.
In the same week, I’m going on another tour with the CMAA club to a Vermont country club. Vermont is easily my favorite New England state, New Hampshire’s a close second. It has so much character and the landscape is so gorgeous, I was blown away by the foliage during the Autumn season. I would highly recommend going to Woodstock Vermont if ever in the area, it’s one of the pretties small towns in the country, I was not disappointed.
I find myself reminiscing as my time here comes to a close, I can still genuinely state that this is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life so far, I’ve learned so much in the time I’ve been here.
