Every Beginning Administrator (a first-year educational administrator with no prior experience as an administrator) is required to receive mentoring/induction support for their first three years of employment. Beginning Administrator Induction (BAI) and first year mentoring support are provided through a partnership between DESE and AAEA.
In addition, Administrators from out-of-state with previous experience, as well as Administrators returning to the profession, are required to complete TESS training.
